Roald Dahl's Matilda the Musical
Roald Dahl's Matilda the Musical
from 9 years
Matilda is not like other children. She reads everything, thinks fast, and has a gift nobody knows about yet. At home her parents ignore her, at school the headmistress Miss Trunchbull makes every day a nightmare. Matilda decides to fight back. A musical full of wit, energy and real anger.
Why it was selected
- •live action with real children, theatrical, wild, brilliant
- •based on the award-winning London stage musical by the Royal Shakespeare Company
- •strong lead who solves problems with brains, never with force
Everyday use (optional)
- •Note: The headmistress is genuinely frightening. Intense scenes and loud musical numbers. For more sensitive children, best watched together.
