Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts
Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts
from 10 years
Kipo has spent her whole life underground. When her burrow is destroyed, she surfaces into a world long abandoned by humans, now inhabited by enormous mutant animals. Kipo doesn't run from this world. She tries to make friends with it.
Why it was selected
- •one of the most creative animated series in years, barely known, exceptionally good
- •Kipo resolves conflict through empathy and music, not violence
- •diverse cast, queer characters naturally integrated, never made into an issue
- •3 seasons, complete story, no open ending
Everyday use (optional)
- •The mutant animals can be visually intense. For more sensitive children, watching the first episode together is recommended. Fans of Hilda will love Kipo.
